Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the decision has been made to cancel all Llanelli Naturalists' meetings until at least the end of this year.  Therefore the Brownfield Sites walk in September, the fungus events planned for October and the three indoor meetings will not now go ahead.  It is not always practical to practice social distancing in these settings and it is felt that such meetings pose unnecessary risks to all attendees.  It is also likely that many members will not feel confident in attending given the current situation.

We sincerely hope that things will be easier next year and we will be able to rearrange the missed events.

Keep watching our website and facebook page for further developments.

Meanwhile I'm sure we will all continue to enjoy and respect the wildlife on our doorsteps.

Keep well and safe.

Meetings are subject to the Government's Covid-19 lock-down restrictions, so potential attendees should always check the Llanelli Naturalists website or Facebook page before every meeting to make sure if it is to go-ahead or whether it has had to be postponed. It is likely that the meetings in June and early July will be cancelled.

All persons attending meetings do so at their own risk. Non-members are always welcome.

Weatherproof clothing & appropriate footwear should be worn at all outdoor meetings.

Specimens may be brought to indoor meetings for identification and discussion.

From the Cross Hands direction, pass the Felinfoel Brewery and then the filling station, both on the left, continue along the straight to the top of the hill, to the Dimpath pub (on the right).  Turn left opposite the Dimpath (Tyrfran on map).
